[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]A trip to Baguio from Manila used to take around 8 hours. After the completion of SCTEX + TPLEX, it has now been reduced to half. As a result, more and more visitors are driving their way up the mountains to get their share of the cold Baguio breeze.
There are many places to stay to in Baguio and among the top places to consider is Azalea Hotel and Residences located at Leonard Wood Loop, Brgy M. Roxas.
Welcome drinks and a local delicacy will be served once you arrive. The interiors looks simple and very welcoming, nothing fancy. Just the way I would refer it to be.
Azalea Baguio is a 4-Star serviced apartment vacation hotel and it has 99 rooms! Guests were wondering why 99, what happened to the one that got away? It’s not complicated, they just learned to live without the one. Hugot aside, it’s just how they wanted it to be, no particular reason. Azalea Baguio has 46 Deluxe, 17 One-bedroom, 33 two-bedroom and 3 three-bedroom all furnished with a fully functional kitchen and dining facility.
Food is served at Tradisyon where all the freshest fruits and vegetables from the Mountain Province.
Oustide is a play ground where kids and adults can bond and enjoy the cold mountain breeze.
Right in front of Azalea is their events area, the Martinez Hall 1 and 2.
Rooms come with it’s own projectors and sound system for presentations or if just want to sing your heart out in a videoke challenge.
The other room comes with a fireplace and comfortable seats and mattresses for an awesome movie viewing experience. Imagine watching 50 Shades in this room.
We stayed in the two bedroom suite that also comes with a convertible sofa bed. I believe our suite can accommodate a total 7 guests comfortably. It comes with it’s own functional kitchen and dining facility if you want to cook your own food or prepare your own meal.

Here’s our view from our room’s balcony. The two bedroom apartment suite is around 60 sqm.

For honeymooners or for those who in to a romantic retreat, you can warm up in the Deluxe room. It comes with a queen size bed, a convertible solo bed if nagkatampuhan, a kitchen and dining facility if you want to prepare him/her breakfast. Even the smallest room has everything that a bigger room has. All is fair in love and suites.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”nivo” interval=”3″ images=”15110,15111″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The one bedroom apartment suite is at 45 sqm, 15sqm bigger than the deluxe.
Azalea also has a three-bedroom suite but unfortunately I was not able to take photos of it. I believe they were all booked that day. I’m pretty sure that it probably will look the same, just bigger and with an additional room. They say it’s at 80 sqm compared to the two-bedroom at 60 sqm.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”nivo” interval=”3″ images=”15115,15116,15117,15118,15119,15120,15039″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Overall, Azalea Hotel & Residences Baguio provides the comfort and worry free vacation that we dream about when we visit Baguio. It’s location takes you away from the all the noise and stress of the busy city of Baguio but still within arms reach of its famous landmarks. I’d recommend that you put Azalea on top of your list next time you visit Baguio, you deserve it.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
