At Cafe 1771, everything feels naturally good. From the moment I entered the restaurant, everything was so relaxing. The way it was designed was very pleasing to the senses. I could stay here all day and breakfast the whole time.
The area is well lit and with decorations and furniture that makes you feel like home.
I was not able to take photos of the second floor, but I’m sure it’ll be as good as this is.
Cafe 1771 is also home the one of the most friendliest staff I have encountered. They were all smiles and were also nice to talk to, just like how breakfast conversations should be.
Now here are the reasons why Cafe 1771 can brighten up your mornings….
Hole in One Corned Beef – huge chunks of corned beef and fried egg served in a hot plate with your choice of either wheat bread or plain rice.
Adobo Flakes Fried Rice – garlic fried rice mixed with chicken and pork adobo, spring onions and fresh tomatoes, topped with fried egg. The adobo flakes isn’t like the super thin strips I usually encounter, it has bigger servings of pork and chicken meat. This is one heavy meal.
Baguio Longanisa na Sabog – I’m a big fan of longanisa and this has been on added to my list of best tasting longanisa. There must have been something added into it to make it taste really different from the ones I tried in Baguio. I love it anyways.
Enough of the rice meals, lets now get to know the other stars of Cafe 1771’s breakfast line up.
Croque Madame – baked layers of ham, Gruyere cheese, whipped with creamy bechamel sauce over a slice of English bread topped with sunny side up egg. How’s that for a meal?
If you’re in to a lighter, sweeter breakfast, you can try the Sour Cream Pancakes with Caramelized Banana and Candies Walnuts. Perfect with a hot up of coffee.
To top it all up, here are the deserts.
Cafe 1771‘s signature dessert, the Coffee Pie. Coffee filling on chocolate-cashew crust., cream topping and toffee sauce.
Sugar-free Carrot Cake. The yellowish white that covers the cake isn’t milk( I thought it was), it was actually cream cheese frosting, surrounded with cashew nuts and walnut on top. It has no artificial sweetener.
A classic gateau(cake) of almond sponge cake and chocolate sponge with coffee, butter cream and 70% Valrhona dark chocolate ganache, Cocolate Opera Cake is sure to fire up your morning with is
