Converse 2014 Fall Collection

Converse 2014 Fall Collection

Converse, brand that never gets old has recently showcased their 2014 Fall Collection and it was all amazing. The Converse All Star, Converse CONS, Chuck Taylor, and Jack Purcell sneakers collection are all for keeps. Too bad I don’t have much budget for a new pair of sneakers, but Christmas is just around the corner and I’ll soon be hearing Christmas songs  already.

For the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star collection, it still has it classic look and feel, and they added cool new features – the Back Zip and Tri Zip.

Other new features and design includes a zebra print that features a UV sensitive technology, turning the white of the shoe royal blue and laces yellow when exposed to the light. I love the new woven design, it  looks so much like a local version of the classic, American brand.

The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star came up with sneakers that can be worn during the rainy season, it has  a French terry lining with a rubber upper in rich monochromatic colors, the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Rubber. It comes in Black, Turtledove, Timber, and Navy. One of my favorite, which I plan to buy when I get to save money is the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Combat Boot, it comes equipped with a double overlay eye row, larger opened collar, tongue zipper and extra-long laces.  A rubberized toe and heel provides extra protection (#MedyoBadBoy).

For the 2014 collection, Converse collaborated with John Varvatos for the stunning multi-eyelet design and giving the One Star silhouette a modern treatment. The Multi Eyelet by John Varvatos features a resin coated textile treatment and washed down attention to give a vintage look and feel, and a burnish midsole with a multitude of elastic laces.  The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Black Sabbath celebrates its second collaboration with iconic photos and album artwork, and guess what color it comes with -black, just black.

Now the CONS for the Pros (pros and cons, get it?). These CONS look good, but I’m a Chucks type of guy. The CONS Weapon, CONS Weapon Skate, CONS Malden Racer, CONS Malden Arctic, CONS Pro Leather.

Jack Purcell, another great series from Converse. For this season, they have Converse Jack Purcell Cross StitchConverse Jack Purcell Mid, Converse Jack Purcell Ox, and the Converse Jack Purcell Split Tongue. Among the four I like the Cross Stich the most because it comes in sophisticated leather and its cross-stitch design.

The launch of the Converse 2014 Fall Collection was an awesome event. There were lost of celebrities present – Maricar De Mesa, Christian Vasquez, Kely Misa, and Tippy Dos Santos among others. Overall what I would’ve wanted to take home was the John Varvatos One Star, the Chuck Taylor All Star Combat Boot, and the Jack Purcell Cross Stitch, so Santa if you’re reading this, I’ll be extra nice this year.
