My Singapore Food Street is located at the 2nd level Bridgeway of SM Megamall and is a partnership between entrepreneur Jean Henri Lhuillier and TV personality/celebrity chef Vivien Tan.

Vivien Tan is proud to have experienced and tasted authentic Singapore dishes during her stay in Singapore. She mentioned that during those days Hainanese Chicken were cooked using native chicken and not cultured chicken.

The Hainanese Chicken is known to be the national dish of Singapore and it was given justice by My Singapore Food Street. I’ve tasted Hainanese Chicken from another restaurant and it didn’t make that impact. Giving it another chance didn’t even cross my mind.

The Hainanese Chicken meal is fresh chicken steamed in garlic, ginger, slat and spices.  Served with Hainanese rice, ginger sauce, chili sauce dark soy sauce and chicken soup. You can also choose to get the Roasted Style Chicken instead of the steam chicken.

They also have the popular Laksa soup. The spicy noodle soup that made of with luglug noodles in coconut creamy soup topped with fish cake, togue, baby prawn and boiled egg  – P 185.

5 Spice Tofu  is diced fried tofu in Chinese wine, ginger, five spiced powder, sliced mushroom, black pepper, dark soy sauce, garnish with fresh spring onions – P80.

Char Kwai Teow is stir fried flat and yellow mee noodles, togue, garlic, red onion, egg, Chineses sausage, fish cake, shrimp with dark soy sauce and Thai patis – P195.

Satay Chicken grilled chicken marinated in special spices, ginger, lemongrass and onion. Pork is also available at the same price – 2pcs/P70 4pcs/P135 and 8pcs/P250.

Nasi Goreng is rice with charsiew meat, chinese sausage cabbage,garlic, red onion, carrots, green peas, sweet corn, shrimp, sambal chili, scrambled egg and dark soy sauce – P175.

Shanghai Roll is ground pork shrimp, garlic, onion, carrots, spring onion, wrapped in lumpia wrapper, fried until golden brown – P100Croquettes is fried mashed potatoes, spinach leaves and spices rolled in egg, flour and bread crumbs – 3pcs/P80.

The next photos you’ll be seeing are my favorites. The Milo Dinosaur which is Milo chocolate smoothie topped with Milo powder and chocolate syrup – P100.  Kopi or Teh Tarik one of the best coffee I tasted in a restaurant.
