Hotdogs is one item that will always be a part of our grocery list. We have it for breakfast and for our son’s baon, sometimes even mine because it’s easy to prepare. But most of the time you get tired of it because it doesn’t have the great taste we’re looking for.
We were on the look out for a replacement for our regular hotdog and stumbled upon Robina Farm’s Big Boy hotdogs. Robina Farm is part of Universal Robina Corporation that brought us Jack n’ Jill goodies and many other delicious snacks. I was hesitant to get one because I was thinking all hotdogs tastes the same, because they all look the same.
It was mentioned that Robina hotdogs are the made at it’s freshest. Meaning they did not undergo refrigeration or freezing. It’s made up of fresh premium quality chicken and pork meat.
I wanted to try them out as soon as I got them so I cooked them as soon as we got home. It was cooked the same old-fashioned way, frying. This will make me compare it’s taste to other hotdogs better. I will try grilling them too when I have the time. I like hotdogs more when grilled. I fried both the cheese and the regular variant and did a taste survey with relatives.
7 out of the 10 relatives that have tasted Big Boy Hotdogs confirmed that it tastes better than the leading brands. I agree, if I didn’t know it was Big Boy, I would’ve thought it was one of the leading brand’s product. You should try them yourselves.
