T.G.I.Friday’s Brings Your Taste Buds to Texas and Mexico

What happens when Texan and  Mexican food gets combined? Find out and visit TGIFriday’s! Try out their new set of dishes that promises to satisfy your Tex-Mex cravings, which includes mouth-watering platters of enchiladas, tacos and tortillas. A total of five new dishes for you amigo.

Starting with the Chili Ball Park Nachos – deep fried tortilla chips covered with generous amount of cheese sauce, chili and pico de gallo, and served with fresh salsa.

It’s a perfect dish while hanging out with friends and drinking beer. Which is why they offer a buy one take one bottle of Corona Extra beer for when you purchase any TexMex dishes. Just perfect!

Next on the list of Tex-Mex dishes is my favorite of the five – Friday’s Tostada Nachos. It’s crispy tortillas loaded with season ground beef and melted cheese. Served with salsa and sour cream then topped with spicy jalapenos. It’s like a version of a super thin crust Mexican flavored pizza, only better. I love it because it has just the right amount of everything and the melted cheese is just sinfully good, Ariba – Ariba!

Smoked Salmon Quesadilla

We’re not done yet, we still have two more Tex-Mex dishes to try out. We have the Smoked Salmon Quesadilla –  smoked salmon inside crisp tortillas with pico de gallo, tart apples and Monterey Jack cheese. Served with mango and lemon slaw.

BBQ Pork Tacos

BBQ Pork Tacos – is shaved pork tenderloin in TGIFriday’s signature BBQ sauce, pepper jack cheese, frizzled onions, south western sour cream, pico de gallo and freshly chopped cilantro. Served with crisp golden fries.

Ranchero Chicken Enchiladas

Ranchero Chicken Enchiladas – It’s a complete meal that heavy on the taste. It’s tender slow cooked chicken breast mixed with spicy ranchero tomato sauce and melted Monterey Jack cheese All these are rolled in corn tortilla and topped with chedar, pico de gallo, cilantro and sour cream. Served with chorizo rice.

After taking a trip to Texas and Mexico, go back and indulge yourself in these desserts. I’m not a fan of cheescakes so I opted for the OREO Madness. It’s vanilla ice cream sandwich between two giant OREO cookies, topped with chocolate and caramel sauce.
