Multipolitan Raises US$2M and Plans Manila Tech Hub Expansion

Multipolitan raises US$2M in seed funding and plans a Manila tech hub ahead of its December 2026 app launch.

Singapore-based mobility tech firm Multipolitan has raised US$2 million in seed funding at a US$25 million pre-money valuation, and it is bringing a tech hub to Manila.

Led by the global venture studio EmergentX, the funding injection will fuel the upcoming December 2026 global launch of the Multipolitan App and scale the company’s existing Private Client business segment.

The brand has already established strong commercial validation, with its Private Client service generating over US$4 million in net revenue in less than two years of operation.

Multipolitan was established by industry veterans Nirbhay Handa, formerly of Henley and Partners, and Lee Smith, who co-founded the fintech firm Paidy before its acquisition by PayPal.

The company is developing a comprehensive digital platform that consolidates essential cross-border mobility requirements, including immigration, visa processing, insurance, and travel logistics, into a single, cohesive user experience.

The upcoming mobile app is built upon three primary pillars: Live, for managing personal documentation; Travel, for real-time flight and entry requirements; and Stay, which tracks international residency allowances and deadlines.

To power these services, the platform utilizes proprietary technology, including its INREX immigration intelligence engine, FlightIQ for travel updates, and an AI-driven Visa Connect tool.

A core component of the company’s regional growth strategy involves establishing a new office in Manila to tap into the Philippines’ robust pool of mobile and full-stack developers.

Beyond leveraging local technical talent, Multipolitan aims to serve the growing market of Filipinos working, studying, and traveling abroad, as well as the rising number of digital nomads based in the country.

The app will be available for free on a global scale upon its December 2026 launch, with a premium version featuring advanced capabilities currently slated for release in the second quarter of 2027.
