Puregold Always Price Packs: Essential Goods Under P100

With prices going up almost everywhere, Puregold is moving in the opposite direction.

The supermarket chain has launched “Always Price Packs,” a new product line where items are sold at fixed prices under P100. The idea is straightforward: the price printed on the packaging stays the same, so shoppers can plan their grocery runs without bracing for unexpected markups at the counter.

Puregold president Vincent Co framed the initiative as an extension of what the brand has always been about rather than a reaction to the current economic climate. “Our responsibility is not just to sell products, but to make sure essential goods remain affordable and accessible, especially during sudden shifts in the economy,” he said.

The timing is not incidental. Inflation and global market instability have been squeezing household budgets for a while now, and the effects are most visible in the weekly grocery bill. For families already making careful decisions about where every peso goes, a product line with a price guarantee removes at least one variable from that equation.

“Always Price Packs reflect Puregold’s commitment to helping customers manage their budgets,” Co added. “The price printed on the packaging stays the same, allowing shoppers to plan their purchases with confidence without compromising on quality.”

It is a practical move dressed up simply, which is kind of the point. No complicated promo mechanics, no minimum spend requirements, no fine print. Just a fixed price on daily essentials for Filipino households that need predictability more than they need another sale.
