Robinsons Appliances’ annual event, Race to a Minute 2023, has recently concluded with shoppers from across the Philippines battling it out for over PHP 2 million worth of appliances and gadgets. The event occurred across four Robinsons Malls, with six pit stops testing each team’s physical and mental capabilities.
Donna May San Luis, Marketing Services Manager of Robinsons Appliances, shared her excitement for the event: “This annual Robinsons Appliances event marks our gratitude to our customers who’ve supported us throughout the past year.”
The competition was divided into four regions, each with four teams. Chosen participants from each region took turns to complete each challenge, with only 60 seconds to complete each task. The race’s first leg began on March 5, 2023, at Robinsons Valencia, Bukidnon, with Ma. Helen Aranguez and Cres Lithel Gem Aranguez, a duo from Tagum Davao, emerged as first-place winners with PHP 218,000 worth of prizes.
The competition continued across the country, with Eleanor Marie Valencia and Rodney Paul Bastona from Negros, Gilbert Roldan and Jennifer Roldan from Tuguegarao, and Marvin Chua and Martin Chua from Paco Manila winning in their respective regions.
Race to a Minute’s final leg was held on March 25, 2023, at Robinsons Galleria South, MYX VJ Turs Daza and celebrity mom Elisse Joson Joson who hosted the event from the beginning of the event up until its final leg were also present. The event features six pit stops where competitors race to complete 60-second tasks to win appliances and gadgets.
At the final pit stop, Nathaniel Trinidad and Don German Crisostomo from Malabon City and Vicresan Borras and Adelsan Borras earned PHP 190K and PHP 118K worth of items, respectively. First-place winners Marvin Chua and Martin Chua, brothers from Paco Manila, won PHP 190K worth of appliances and gadgets.
In addition to the chance to win fantastic prizes, each team was guaranteed to bring home prizes worth up to PHP 220,000. Even better, all participants also received PHP 2,000 worth of GoRewards Points. Robinsons Appliances created an exciting event to thank their loyal customers who have supported them throughout the year.
