Riot Games Just Extended Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open Registration, and the Prize Pool Is P1,000,000 If you missed the original deadline, the Rift is giving you one more shot.
Riot Games Philippines has extended registration for the third season of Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open until June 2, 2026 at 12:00 noon. The extension opens the door for more teams nationwide to join what is shaping up to be the biggest grassroots League of Legends: Wild Rift tournament in the country, with a P1,000,000 prize pool and a ticket to South Korea on the line.
The prize breakdown is straightforward. Champions take home P500,000, second place walks away with P250,000, and third place gets P125,000. Beyond the cash, the top performers earn the chance to represent the Philippines at SMASH 2026, Riot Games’ cross-regional community celebration happening in South Korea this November.
The tournament runs in two splits. Split 1 covers June 4 to July 12, with group stage matches spread across weekends in June and July. Groups A and B open on June 13 to 14, followed by Groups C and D on June 20 to 21, Groups E and F on June 27 to 28, and Groups G and H on July 4 to 5. The top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs qualifiers on July 10 to 12, with the top four from there moving on to the final community playoffs in September.
Teams that do not make the cut in Split 1 get another chance in Split 2, with registration opening July 13 until August 2. The whole thing culminates at the Road to SMASH playoffs on September 25 to 27, where the top eight teams compete for the Philippines spot at SMASH 2026.
Lara Antonio, Regional Community Lead for Wild Rift APAC, summed up what the tournament is trying to do: “We remain committed to lowering the barriers to entry for aspiring grassroots communities to compete on an international level.”
Registration closes June 2 at noon. Sign up via riot.com/WRPilipinasOpen2026Registration and follow Wild Rift Philippines on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for group announcements and schedule updates.
