In a move that bridges the gap between premium hardware and homegrown storytelling, Samsung Electronics Philippines and Cignal have officially inked a strategic partnership to bring a massive library of local content directly to Samsung’s massive device install base.

Announced in April 2026, this collaboration isn’t just about adding another app to your home screen; it’s about a deep integration where Cignal’s diverse content, from blockbuster movies and live sports to documentaries, becomes a core part of the Samsung experience on both mobile devices and televisions.

Content Meets Connectivity

The partnership ensures that the Cignal app will be the primary gateway for Samsung users to access content from CIGNAL TV, CIGNAL Play, Pilipinas Live, and the recently piloted CIGNAL Super app.

  • Pre-installed Perks: Samsung users will gain access to pre-installed content from Filipino artists and filmmakers, putting local talent front and center on some of the world’s most advanced screens.
  • The “Cignal Super” Factor: Leveraging new OTT aggregation technology, the Cignal Super platform allows users to access multiple streaming services (like Viu and Lionsgate Play) under a single subscription, now optimized for the Samsung ecosystem.
  • Bundled Offers: Throughout 2026, Cignal subscribers can expect exclusive bundled deals on Samsung mobile devices and TVs, designed to showcase the “cross-device functionality” of a truly connected home.
