BingoPlus Foundation Donates ₱17.2M to Sports & Culture after International Series PH

he inaugural International Series Philippines (ISP), held last month, proved to be more than a showcase of world-class golf. Presented by BingoPlus, the event was successfully leveraged by the BingoPlus Foundation, the social development arm of DigiPlus Interactive Corp., as a powerful platform to champion sports development, uplift athletes, and contribute to nation-building.

The first-ever ISP established the country as a premier sports destination while allowing the Foundation to distribute a total of ₱17.2 million in donations to key partner-beneficiaries. DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio Tanco stated, “Beyond expanding golf’s domestic reach and enhancing our global standing, this tournament is crucial because it gives us, through our BingoPlus Foundation, the opportunity to support and empower our sports community.”

Multiplying the Good in Sports and Grassroots

The donations are strategically aimed at supporting both elite athletes and grassroots programs:

Jasper Vicencio, President of BingoPlus, affirmed, “By investing in this tournament, we’re not just funding a competition, we’re helping shape future champions.” The Foundation’s inclusive efforts, including the support for the Sisidlan Rizal Weavers (local artisans showcased during the Welcome Gala), demonstrated their commitment to cultural heritage alongside sports.

The success of the ISP, which saw local hero Miguel Tabuena claim the title, solidifies the partnership’s mission to ‘Multiply the Good,’ extending its influence beyond education and health into sports and cultural development.
