Kia Philippines took the stage at the 13th PEVS to reaffirm its push for electric mobility, unveiling the new Kia EV5—a compact electric SUV aimed at young families and urban drivers.
The EV5, which features a bold design inspired by the flagship EV9, is equipped with a 217 PS motor, 310 Nm of torque, and an 88.1 kWh battery for an estimated 550 km range. It also includes cool features like Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and the comprehensive DriveWise safety system.

Kia is also working hand-in-hand with ACMobility to build the necessary charging infrastructure across the Philippines, which currently includes over 100 operational charging sites, with a goal of 700 charge points by the end of 2025.

The Kia EV5 will officially launch in the Philippines in the first quarter of 2026, with final price and specs to follow.
