PLDT Enterprise Powers Xeleqt’s AI-IoT Expansion in PH

The AI-IoT Startup That Won PH Digicon 2023 Is Now Scaling Up With PLDT Enterprise

Xeleqt Technology Innovations did not start as a household name. But winning the grand prize at the Start-up Innovation Challenge at PH Digicon 2023 and getting selected by the Department of Trade and Industry to represent the Philippines at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair will do a lot for your visibility. Now the company is in the middle of a serious expansion, and PLDT Enterprise is the connectivity partner helping make it happen.

For context, Xeleqt builds AI-IoT solutions designed to improve workplace productivity and employee engagement. The platform measures, rewards, and records workforce performance in real time, which sounds straightforward until you consider the infrastructure required to keep thousands of connected devices running reliably at scale. That is where the PLDT Enterprise partnership comes in.

The collaboration is built around Smart’s IoT connectivity, giving Xeleqt the always-on wireless foundation its devices need to support real-time data capture, analytics, and automation across its operations. As the company’s deployments grow, the connectivity layer needs to keep pace without dropping the ball on performance or uptime. Scalable wireless infrastructure is not the most glamorous part of an AI-IoT story, but it is the part that determines whether the rest of it actually works.

The relationship between the two companies actually predates Xeleqt itself. PLDT Enterprise was already working with Spingine Corp, Xeleqt’s parent company and a systems integrator, on large-scale connectivity before Xeleqt was formally established in 2021. When Xeleqt spun up its own operations, the partnership carried over and evolved alongside it.

Xeleqt President Norman Curato put the dependency plainly: “Having scalable and reliable connectivity is critical to how we serve our customers and expand our operations. Our collaboration with PLDT Enterprise gives us the connectivity foundation we need to support more intelligent and data-driven applications at scale.”

Jay Lagdameo, Vice President and Head of Domestic Enterprise Business at PLDT Enterprise, framed it from the other side: “As Xeleqt continues to expand its AI-IoT initiatives, PLDT Enterprise remains committed to providing the reliable connectivity foundation that helps power those efforts.”

It is a partnership that started with a startup pitch competition and has quietly grown into something with real operational weight behind it.
