Join The Go Ginhawa Mom Movement with Paracetamol Calpol

The most stressful thing to happen on a parent is when your child is sick. Moms will be on panic mode and the fever sucks out the happiness in your homes. There is this uneasy feeling and you feel like you need a doctor yourself, but once the fever is gone, there’s a huge sigh of relief because something unpleasant has ended.

Paracetamol Calpol®, a product of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, provides effective fever relief for children in on a mission is to provide children with ginhawa na maasahan from pain and fever incidences.

To truly bring the Ginhawa message to life, Paracetamol (Calpol®) has launched its Go Ginhawa Mom Movement, a community of mothers who advocate for nothing but the best for their children – the best health care, the best nutrition, the best way of child rearing, the best education, and more.

Paracetamol (Calpol®) has also named its three Go Ginhawa Moms — actress Jolina Magdangal Escueta, blogger Jackie Go, and TV host and news personality Suzi Entrata-Abrera, all hands-on mothers who always put their children first.

First-time mom Jolina is a very hands-on mom,  and she considers herself a “Praning Mom” when it comes to taking care of her sick Pele. “He just had fever, I didn’t know it was like that. It was hard, I almost cried because he was so weak. And I’m not used to seeing him like that.”

As a mother of two, Jackie says that motherhood is the best thing that has ever happened to her that’s why it is important for Jackie to find instant relief for her kids Gabbie, 5, and Juro, 2 when they exposed to sickness. She says, “Now that my kids are interacting with other children, they’ve become more prone to contracting viruses and getting sick. I need something that will help them regain their happy, healthy selves fast so they can go back to enjoying their childhood.

Expert mom Suzi, also talks about how being a mother has made her more selfless. She takes care of daughters Leona (11 years old), Jade (10 years old), and Nella (9 years old) as she hosts the talk show Full Time Moms. Suzi finds that older children like hers can be picky with medicine flavors. “Taste never used to be an issue but now that they have their own preferences, my daughters will only take what they like. I’m glad Paracetamol (Calpol®) has yummy flavors to choose from and I don’t need to force them to take medicine when they’re sick,” she says.

During the event, the Go Ginhawa Moms had a chance to interview Dr. Sally Gatchalian of the Philippine Pediatric Society about common misconceptions regarding children’s fever. Dr. Sally Gatchalian pointed out that fever is your friend, it means that your body is doing its job, protecting you from viruses. I also learned that you don’t need to wake your child up at wee hours of the night for the scheduled medicine dosage. It’s better that we let their body rest and do its job in healing our kids.

These Go Ginhawa Moms are taking the doctor’s advice very seriously. That’s what mom’s are, and that’s how serious Calpol is giving fast relief from fever.
