PIXEL Pod Season 2: Queen Wasabi Tackles Creator Nitty-Gritty

Two years into the journey of PIXEL, Eplayment’s mission to foster talent remains sharp. The PIXEL Pod podcast is back for its second season, transforming into an even deeper well of knowledge for the creator community. Steering the ship this season is the dynamic Let Perez, known to her audience as Queen Wasabi, who takes the reins solo after co-hosting Season 1 alongside Andie.

The first season, which kicked off with the fittingly titled episode “Content Creation: More Than Just A Hobby,” delivered 15 episodes covering everything from creation fundamentals to dissecting social media trends. It was a casual yet insightful safe space for creators to hear the uncensored reality of the industry.

New Season, New Segments

For Season 2, Queen Wasabi is shifting the focus to a one-on-one deep dive, featuring a different guest creator on every episode. The conversation zeroes in on the often-unseen work behind content creation—the late nights, the crew, and the community management.

To make the podcast truly community-driven, three new segments have been introduced:

  1. “Dear PIXEL”: A segment where PIXEL users can write in to the podcast about literally anything, sparking an open discussion between the host and the guest creator.
  2. “Ask Ely & Echo”: Named after Eplayment’s mascots, Ely and Echo, this is a dedicated Q&A where users submit their content creation questions to the mascots’ PIXEL account, which are then tackled on air.
  3. Giveaway: A fun, episode-specific contest that invites listeners to answer a question related to the topic for a chance to win prizes.

Staying true to their promise, the first two episodes of Season 2 have already hit the feed: “Shoutout To The Crew: The Unsung Heroes of Content” and “The Mod Squad: Trusting Your Community With Power”—a clear sign that the podcast is ready to talk about the real backbone of any successful creator.

Building a Sanctuary for the Community

Eplayment CEO Karlos Naidas is crystal clear on the goal: “The PIXEL Pod was created with our community of creators in mind… We wanted PIXEL to be more than a tool that creators can use, but a place where they can gather resources for content creation and build communities of their own.”

This vision for community extends beyond the podcast. Following the success of the PIXEL Academy—a series of content creation workshops—Eplayment is determined to finish the year strong. Naidas emphasizes, “It always comes back to the community and how we can help them carve out their creator journey.”

For Eplayment and PIXEL, being a creator means embracing a process that begins long before the camera rolls and continues long after the post goes live. Through PIXEL Pod and their continuous community initiatives, they are committed to empowering the next generation of digital storytellers and entrepreneurs.
