Lucky TNT subscribers recently spent a memorable Saturday with KaTropas Kathryn Bernardo and Joshua Garcia at the TNT Anibersaya 25’s Max Saya Bonding Event in Quezon City. Among the attendees was 53-year-old government employee Rochelle Aguilar, who was flown in from Iloilo by TNT for the exclusive event.
Aguilar, a loyal TNT subscriber for four years, initially couldn’t believe she won. “Bale, nag-load lang po ako then may nag-pop up na message na may raffle to bond with Kathryn and Joshua so nag-join po ako. Pero hindi ko po sineryoso kasi siyempre, andaming sasali. Hindi na rin ako nag-expect na mananalo,” she shared. A TNT representative confirmed her win and arranged an all-expenses-paid trip to Manila for Aguilar, her two daughters, Jyzelle and Rachel, and their friend Rica Mae Onelan.
A Once-in-a-Lifetime KaTropa Experience
Aguilar and her companions joined eight other fortunate TNT subscribers from across the Philippines for the exclusive bonding event. “Naunang dumating si Joshua then ‘yun na. Madami na nang kwentuhan at tawanan dahil masaya siyang kausap,” Aguilar recounted. She added, “Nasa harap ko si Joshua, habang katabi ko naman si Kathryn during lunch, kaya hindi ko makakalimutan itong experience na ito – lahat-lahat, kasi once-in-a-lifetime lang siya!” Jyzelle, Aguilar’s daughter, was visibly emotional watching her mother’s excitement.
Throughout the event, Kathryn and Joshua mingled with the subscribers, treating them like their own KaTropas. Aguilar noted Joshua’s openness about his healthy diet and discovered Kathryn’s shared passion for rescuing stray animals, just like her. The celebrities also teamed up with winners for games like ‘Charades Relay’ and ‘Mirror Move,’ with Team Joshua winning both. Aguilar, a member of Team Joshua, won a ₱10,000 cash prize, while her daughters on Team Kathryn received a ₱4,000 consolation prize each.

Kathryn joked with Team Kath, “Bawi next time!” and thanked everyone for supporting them and TNT, hoping it wouldn’t be the last bonding event. Joshua playfully teased Team Kath and expressed his enjoyment. Hosted by actor Bong Gonzales, the event also included exclusive TNT merchandise and photo sessions with the celebrities.
