vivo Philippines launched a gaming-centric today, the vivo Y20s [G], obviously the G stands for gaming. I didn’t get it at first, I thought it was 5G. I can also say that the G stands for “Ganda” because the phone itself looks beautiful.
I’ve been a fan of vivo’s design since the V19 Neo, the X50 series, and the V20 series, they all look good. Now the Y20s [G] also features the same elegant look.
At the back you get a triple camera set up with a 13MP as f2.2 as the main lens. The rest is a bokeh f2.2 and a super macro f2.2. You don’t a get a fingerprint sensor at the back because it is placed at the side below the volume rocker, it also serves as the power button.
The bottom houses the speaker and the micro USB port. I’m surprised they didn’t opt for Type C. It has a speaker on the right side and a 3.5mm port and a microphone on the other side.
The display is 6.51′ inch with a 1600 x 720 resolution and a selfie camera with 8MP f1.8
As far as gaming is concerned it packs new features like the Esports mode, Do Not Disturb, Brightness Lock, and in Game Picture-in-Picture mode which we’ll discuss in the review. To power up the gaming experience, vivo included a Helio G80 octa-core processor, with clock speeds of up to 2.0GHz and added 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Another gaming feature is the HyperEngine Game Technology which managers the CPU, GPU, and memory use to sustain performance and longer gameplay. Speaking of gameplay the vivo Y20s [G] has 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging technology.
Currently vivo is giving a FREE TWS Earphones worth P2,499 when you purchase the vivo Y20s [G] at Lazada or Shopee for only Php 9,999.
