Solitaire has been around for ages. Even before the rise of mobile solitaire games I have been playing them with our decks of cards. I play with them during brownouts, afternoon siesta, and even at late nights.
Then I also remember Windows 3.1 and its version of Solitaire and thought how amazing it was that you could play a computer game like that. It was one of the most iconic past times during classes computer classes when I was in college. Now, the mobile revolution is making old games like this fun to play again.
Until now, I only know solitaire, I didn’t know there were different versions of them nor have I played them. It’s difficult to win the classic version, I assume the other versions can be more difficult. On average I probably am winning in 1 for every 10 games. To be honest, I haven’t played this game in a long time and my skills are getting rusty. But it’s still fun to play when you want something simple and don’t want to be distracted by other games.
Having said that, although there are a lot of mobile games that offer solitaire, I fancy a website that not only has tons of information about solitaire and other card games, you get to play them as well. Including the many versions of solitaire.
It’s a website called Solitaire.Org but it’s not just about solitaires, there are tons of other games too like mahjong, and even logic puzzles.
There are a ton of incredible new games for smartphones, but there’s still nothing that quite beats the classics like finding secret objects, word games like crossword puzzles, scrabble and many others. With the popularity of Wordle, it is a sign that people enjoy web games more than ever.
What I love about these games is that it doesn’t require a top of line graphics or fast processors. It’s meant to be enjoyed by everyone. Young and old.
Solitaire can also be known as Solitaire Klondike, Freecell, and Spider Solitaire. Regardless of what you call it, one thing is for sure: you can’t beat these cool free games.
