A week ago, I had the pleasure of unboxing the latest addition to vivo’s smartphone lineup, the vivo V27e. The teasers online boast promising features and a gorgeous black panel design.
The box was pretty basic, brands no longer put effort into crafting unique package designs. People throw them away anyways. It comes with all that you’d expect to form it out of the box – USB type c cable, power adapter, silicon case, SIM pin, and some paperwork. By now, you probably have gotten used to not seeing earphones because of the rise of TWS.
The vivo V27e immediately caught my eye with its stunning design. Its slim profile and the black panel design impress me more when light bounces on it. The vibrant 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED impressed me with its crisp visuals, vivid colors, and excellent viewing angles. Whether I was browsing through photos or watching videos, the display provided an immersive experience.
Inside it runs with
- MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core
- 2x Cortex-A76 2.2GHz & 6x Cortex-A55 2.0GHz
- Mali-G57 MC2
- 8GB RAM
- 256GB Storage
It comes with a triple-camera setup which uring my initial tests, the camera delivered sharp and vibrant images, with accurate color reproduction and good dynamic range.
- 64MP OIS main f/1.79
- 2MP bokeh lens f/2.4
- 2MP macro f/2.4
- Triple rear flash with single color temperature
- Front camera: 33MP selfie f/2.0
The 4600 mAh battery, 66W Flash Charge offered impressive endurance throughout the day. I was able to browse the internet, stream media, and use various apps without worrying about running out of battery. Additionally, the device supports fast charging, ensuring I could quickly top up the battery when needed.
