The Young Professionals Summit is a flagship project of the Lasallian Student Ambassadors for Graduate Education (Lasallian SAGE) and the Office of Student Leadership Involvement, Formation, and Empowerment (Student LIFE) as part of the 2015 DLSU University Mission Vision Week. The one-day conference was organized to provide young adults and professionals a venue for personal growth and professional development.
Now on its 3rd year, the Young Professionals Summit, with the theme “Suit Up. Start Up. Stand Out”, creates a venue for learning how to lead in the work place, in a business, or in a social enterprise. The whole day summit will happen on March 18, 2017 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at The Verdure, 4th Floor, Henry Sy, Sr. Hall , De La Salle University, Manila.
The summit will feature talks on the following inspiring topics on:
- Suit Up: Personal Success how young professionals should develop the right attitude for success by strengthening their personal brand and how to lead in and out of the workplace;
- Start Up: Entrepreneurship how pursuing your passion can turn into profit as you grow a business;
- Stand Out: Social Enterprise how to stand out by making a difference by leading a social enterprise.
The finale for the summit will be a panel discussion on the steps in venturing on a business – success stories and tips from entrepreneurs and venture capitalists.
Innovators, leaders, and advocates were invited to share their expertise on the different areas of entrepreneurship such as: Fabien Courtielle (Head of GK Enchanted Farm Innovations and Founder of Plush and Play), Camille Meloto (Founder and Owner of Human Nature), Rolando Villanueva (President of Blu Coffee Distributors), Benedict Carandang (Vice President for Externals, First Global Alliance) and many more.
