After the successful HOOQ Hangouts in July, HOOQ has done it again with it’s second HOOQ Hangouts at the BGC Amphitheater. This month, #LovePinoy was the theme of the second HOOQ Hangouts as it showcased its massive catalogue of local movies with a screening of Every Breath You Take, starring Piolo Pascual and Angelica Panganiban. The Friday night traffic and the rain didn’t stop people from going to Bonifacio Global City to watch the romantic-comedy hit film.
The event started with performances by the acoustic duo Migs and Maya who are currently getting much attention because of the interpretation of Barbie Almalbis’ P-Pop Love song entry, Ambon which became the soundtrack of the Bea – Gerald movie, How To Be Yours.
Prizes were also given away to lucky participants who joined the Guess The Movie Its Soundtrack, Complete The Movie Line, and Guess The Celebrity. Movie goers were also treated to popcorn and chips courtesy of HOOQ. Right before the HOOQ Hangouts movie presentation this guy showed up to stole the show.
Piolo Pascual dropped by to make the ladies scream and express his gratitude for HOOQ’s appreciation of homegrown movies and tv shows.
