After hearing her first single Runaway a few months back, Zendee is now ready to release her first solo album under Warner Music Philippines titled I Believe. It was around December last year when I first heard the song and first heard her sing live, see post here, and she hasn’t changed a bit, still the giggly, down to earth girl that everybody loves.
Zendee auditioned and competed in major talent shows like X- Factor Philippines, Pinoy Dream Academy 3 and Pilipinas Got Talent 4 but did not make the final cut. It wasn’t the end for her.
Zendee believes that if you want something achieved, you got to believe in yourself; believe in the talent that God has given you. Like the saying goes: “God helps those who help themselves“, true enough. A video of her practicing in the mall got the attention of millions of people and then was invited to guest at the Ellen De Generes show and the rest is history.
It wasn’t luck, she deserved it. Every microphone she borrowed, every line she memorized and every note she sang was in pursue of her dreams. Dreams that she now made into reality because of her hard work, determination and her talent.
It doesn’t end there. She starred in a few commercials, had TV performances and will be joining Jason Mraz in his concert on May 14 at the Smart Araneta Colesium.
Her album includes nine tracks which features six original songs including the carrier single Runaway, The Ones You Love, I Believe, Completely and If You Want plus three cover songs Go The Distance, Love Takes Time and Hallelujah.
