Jamba Juice Opens Third Branch

As more and more Filipinos embrace healthy ways of living, the iconic California lifestyle brand—Jamba Juice®—is expanding their presence in the Philippines to bring the delectable delight of perfectly ripened and sun-sweetened premium fruits blended to perfection to the palates of their customers.

Just recently they have opened their 3rd branch at SM Mall of Asia.

Having brought their delicious smoothie goodness to Bonifacio High Street (BHS) and Alabang Town Center, Jamba Juice in the Philippines—who is committed to bringing delectable smoothies, fresh-squeezed juices, and better-for-you snacks to locations where their fans want them most — is expanding to the SM Mall of Asia—the country’s largest integrated leisure which houses various flagship stores, an IMAX theatre, and numerous dining and shopping destinations that answer the needs of today’s dynamic urbanites. 

“Choosing strategic locations, that are convenient to our consumers, has always been one of the integral facets that we consider, when choosing the best locations for expansion,” says Sharon T. Fuentebella, Managing Director of Jamba Juice’s Master Franchisee in the Philippines.

Store growth aside, another interesting story lies in why Jamba Juice in the Philippines is so ardent about reaching more and more fans—their Gimme’ Me Five Campaign.

Gimme’ Five for a Mango Seedling

Through the Gimme’ Me Five campaign, customers who ride Jamba’s in-store Blender Bike for five minutes, get to donate one mango seedling which will be planted in the Guimaras Mango Park. The mango campaign was first introduced in conjunction with the opening of their flagship store in BHS-Central and was made possible through a partnership with the Bureau of Plant Industry–Guimaras National Mango Research and Development Center (BPI-GNMRDC).  During his recent visit, Jamba Juice President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. James D. White, embraced the campaign as a meaningful way to raise awareness of local sustainability initiatives.

“Our hope is that locally grown Guimaras Mangoes will one day play a larger role in Jamba’s smoothie menu,” says Mark Gamboa, Marketing Director of Jamba Juice in the Philippines.  “In the meantime, promoting the planting of trees with a ride on the Blender Bike is our fun way of engaging our customers in this campaign to support the local mango industry.”

Fuentebella adds that the local team is excited about raising awareness of the Guimaras Mango, as it also highlights Guimaras as a tourist destination where the best mangoes are grown.

“The Philippines is already known for growing some of the best tropical fruits the world has ever tasted, and Jamba Juice uses the highest quality of fruits from different countries, including bananas sourced from the Philippines,” adds Fuentebella. “We are hoping to extend this commitment to quality and freshness by promoting and using our very own Guimaras mangoes in the blending of our delectable smoothies.”

Jamba Juice’s presence in the Philippines is set to expand to 37 more locations within the next 10 years.
