Hundreds of Jollibee Kids Club (JKC) members and their parents trooped to the Star City complex in Pasay City for the annual JKC Family Fun Day, where they shared an afternoon of exciting games and performances together with everyone’s favorite friend Jollibee, and pals, Hetty, Popo, Yum and Twirlie. The event also showcased the talents of club members such as the Jollibee Kids Club Angels who wowed everyone with their high-energy moves, as well as aspiring TV actor and singer JC Tan who treated audiences with a song number. The kids and their parents eagerly took part in the games which included the Robby Rabbit Bag Relay, Ascof Scavenger Hunt, Poten-cee Pass the Message and Sterling Paper Products Trip to Jerusalem, to win wonderful prizes and gift packs. They also took home loot bags with giveaways from Knotsberry Farm, Primovit, Dimetapp, Philippine Star, Hapee Toothpaste, Minute Maid, Allue and Quaker Oats.
Of course the celebration won’t be complete without the special dance performance of Jollibee, Hetty, Popo, Yum and Twirlie which brought everyone, kids and parents alike, to their feet and dancing along to the beat. After the program, the Jollibee Kids Club members and their parents spent the rest of the day trying out the different exciting rides for free at Star City.
“This annual Jollibee Kids Club Family Fun Day is our way of thanking the kids for their loyalty. This is one of the incentives they get for being JKC members, aside from the usual Jollibee freebies, raffle prizes and discounts on workshops and other events,” said Robert Raagas, trade marketing officer of Jollibee Metro North. As one of the longest running kids’ clubs in the country, Jollibee Kids Club boasts of a nationwide membership of more than 350,000 kids and growing. “At Jollibee Kids Club, we have regular workshops that enable kids, aged 12 years old and below, to develop and hone their singing, dancing and acting skills. We also teach them about arts and crafts and how to improve their social skills,” added Raagas. In the coming months, members can look forward to more talent workshops as well as the Jollibee Kids Club Christmas Bash in December. “We have lots more in store for our members, so I hope more kids will join the Jollibee Kids Club.”
To join the Jollibee Kids Club, parents can simply fill out a registration form available at any Jollibee participating store nationwide and for only P100, their kids can already enjoy lots of freebies, monthly raffle prizes, discounts on workshops and other rewards.
