Jollibee unveiled it’s first-ever mobile application – JolliDance Showdown. The app uses augmented reality with the help of the Jollibee Kids Meal box. The launch was held at Ascott in BGC hosted by Chico Garcia and Bettina Carlos and attended by celebrity moms and their kids.
The app was developed by renowned Los Angeles-based mobile innovation agency, Trigger. The agency has produced applications for other clients like Sony Pictures, Lionsgate Entertainment, and Lucas Film. “Everyone just really loves going to Jollibee. It struck us an important part of the Philippines’ pop culture.” – Trigger Senior Director of Client Services Natasha Weinstein.
The app allows you to take a selfie and use it as your avatars and, after choosing their image on screen, they watched Jollibee and friends enjoy Electro, Pop, and Rock beats.
Be a DJ and create your own beats using the app and let Jollibee choreograph the dance for you. You can unlock other Jollibee friends including Hetty, Twirlie, Popo and Yum by visiting a Jollibee near you and scan a Jolly Kiddie Meal promo board located at the store counters.
The JolliDance Showdown App is free for download in iTunes and Google Play Store. Get the app and watch the Jolly Joy Box go live. The Jolly Joy Box comes free with every purchase of the Jolly Kiddie Meal.
After getting futuristic with an app Jollibee also releases new Jolly Pinoy Collectibles that celebrates the fun of being a pinoy. Five collectible toys that symbolizes the diversity of our culture – a sorbetero, vinta, jeepeney, carabao, and a kalesa for Php 149 each.
