To celebrate the launch of Netflix’s new series Korean series “Kingdom”, Netflix partnered held a viewing party in partnership with LG Electronics Philippines at the Korean Cultural Center at BGC.
Guests will be given the privilege to watch the first episode before it airs on Friday January 25. Guests include people from the press and LG brand ambassadors including LA Tenorio, James Deakin, Gil Cuerva, Nicole Cordoves and Dani Barreto.
Aside from getting to watch it first before everyone else, we get to watch it on LG’s newest TV, the OLED B8 4K TV. The LG B8 4K OLED TV a 55 inch 4K Cinema HDR display and comes with a “Smart Brain a7 Intelligent Processor” and Dolby Atmos for an awesome viewing experience. Basically it scares you more because of the crisp sound and clarity it produces. The LG B8 4K OLED TV is priced at Php 89,991 and will come with a free 6 months Netflix subscription with every purchase. Probably the best way to binge watch Kingdom.
“It is an important celebration of the strong relationship between Korea and the Philippines, which started in 1949. To honor this friendship, we at LG always go beyond the call of duty to provide excellent home entertainment products and appliances to millions of Filipinos who have supported us from the beginning. It is our pleasure to contribute in strengthening the bond between our two countries.”
I got hooked right after seeing the first episode. I wish I had an LG TV at home to at least get the same viewing experience. Catch Kingdom, an original Netflix series starting January 25.
