Platinum recording artist Sarah Geronimo is supporting her new album with a series of shows around Metro Manila.
Viva Records, Geronimo’s music label, has set up a couple of mall show dates to promote the singer’s latest album entitled “The Great Unknown.”
The tour will kick off on January 23 at Ayala Malls Trinoma in North avenue corner Edsa. The singer-actress will sing mostly new songs from her all-original album “The Great Unknown.”
The first single off the album is the upbeat, dance-vibe track “Tala.” written by Nica Del Rosario with music by Emmanuel Sambayan. A music video of the song is also set to be released soon which will be directed by Paul Basinilio who has worked extensively with Geronimo on previous videos and concerts.
The singer’s new record also includes collaborations with pop-rock band Hale and Yeng Constantino, specifically on the songs “The Great Unknown” and “Kaibigan Mo” respectively. An appearance by these artists during the mallshows are unlikely though as of the moment. But fans will definitely be looking forward to seeing Geronimo singing the new songs from her twelfth album. Fans saw Geronimo perform last when the singer held her successful two-night concert back in December 2015.
After the 3pm Trinoma show set for this Saturday, Viva will then take the mall tour to Glorietta in February 6 and then onto Market Market in Taguig on February 12.
“The Great Unknown” album is exclusively sold by Odyssey Music and Video and Odyssey Next stores. The album is also available digitally on iTunes and can be streamed on Spotify, Deezer and Guvera. For more information about the shows, follow Viva Records on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
