Opening my live theater viewing this 2017 is the re-run of the hit musical comedy – Care Divas. Care Divas is also kick-starts the Philippine Educational Theater Association’s (PETA) 50th season.
First staged in 2011, ‘Care Divas’ tells the story of five transgendered overseas Filipino workers in Israel who are caregivers by day and transform into glamorous drag queen performers by night.

I have, for a long time, wanted to watch PETA plays but work gets in the way, plus the location isn’t accessible from where I work and where I live. Having seen Care Divas, I now have a great reason to may time, travel and watch more of PETA plays.
