Pasig is one of the most busiest place city in Manila which is why you get to see a number of spa centers rose to fill the need of pampering and relaxation of the very busy Pasiguenio. Out of the many only a few stand out, one of them is the House of Senses. Located Loft 102, Jemco Building, C. Raymundo Ave., Pasig City. Only a few minutes away from the municipal hall and Ortigas center.
The owners of the House of Senses came from a hotel service background – hoteliers and even a hotel director. It’s their love for pampering and relaxation that brought about the birth of the House of Senses.
The interior defines its hip and modern Asian theme with its fancy wall arts, displays and paintings which are complimented with relaxing aroma and zen music. The best part of entering the House of Senses is that you are greeted with a smile.
The House of Senses has five massage rooms at the ground floor, each of them dimly lit and comfortably spaced making sure that there’s enough room for your stresses to exit.
At the loft there are two more massage rooms. Each one bigger than what’s on the ground floor and it isn’t elevated. It is also provisioned as a couple room with just a flip of the curtain. I believe the reason it isn’t elevated is for the therapist to perform a different type of massage (a hard one, I think).
Also at the loft is a place where you can have your hand and/or feet pampered. There is a LED TV up front where you can watch movies or the your favorite TV series. The couch has a unique feature that allows you to use an earphone/headset to listen to what you are watching on the big screen. This feature allows the other customers to have their quiet time. You only will be able to hear the audio if you use an earphone.
What they are most proud of is that they have highly trained therapists that attends to your pampering needs. Having hotel related backgrounds, the owners know how to treat the customers well and it is reflected in all their staff and therapists. Before your session/service starts, they introduce themselves, give you the time and and the approximate time it’ll finish. They may look so serious but their fun to talk to.
The house of senses also offers the latest treatments their services. I believe it was my first time to have a gelatin treatment for my tired feet. It is said to moisturize and exfoliate the skin, it rejuvenates it. They also offer the latest nail polish brands for those who to have their nails painted.
If you are looking for a wellness retreat to get away from all the stresses or to clear your mind from your boss’s negativity the House of Senses will be an ideal spot for you. Good job! Looking forward to dropping by again soon, I badly need a massage. I just wish they had more rooms as they are often packed with customers.
