Hear ye hear ye! All ye foodies, taste adventurers, and hungry travelers! A feast is prepared to honor our taste buds, who has fought so many gastronomical battles and its victory has transformed us to what we are now – fat, stout and full of lipids. The feast is to be held at The Round Table, in Kapitolyo, Pasig City. Everyone is expected to attend and have their bellies filled with unique flavors and leave least five pounds heavier.
I just had to do that because The Round Table reminds me of the story of King Arthur(which, by the way, is a motel in Pasig) and the knights of the round table. The Round Table was opened as a venue for food tasting or a taste of what Q Provision Catering has to offer.
This has got to be the most unique adobo I have ever tasted, and it’s delicious too. Adobo Sa Manga, it substitutes green mango puree for vinegar and bagoong for the soy sauce. It still taste like adobo, but with a unique twist to it.
Their culinary selection aims to go beyond the norm and what’s predictable, it surprises your taste buds with its pleasant dishes. The Round Table the perfect place if you’re looking for an out of the ordinary buffet experience with different menu theme each day.
They have Filipino Twist, Italian Tuesday, Southern American, Mongolian Wednesday, among others. It’s sure to satisfy everyday cravings. Just like them on Facebook and you can experience an all-you-can-eat tasting session for only P199, from a regular rate of P295. I wish they also have Meatless Mondays.
Q Provisions also offers same day catering for office celebrations or house parties. It’s fuss free, convenient and yummy! It’s for P550 per person, inclusive of the menu of the day – soup, poultry, pork, veggie, pasta, rice, dessert, and iced tea. It comes with disposable plates, utensils and cups, and a server will be available to you for 2 hours. A minimum of 15 pax.
The Round Table is also serving breakfast, it starts from 7:00AM – 10:00AM and is available from Thursday to Sunday. Below is the Arroz Caldo station which I frequented because I love arroz caldo for breakfast and the fried dulong and salted egg toppings is a great combination. I will try it at home.
Kapitolyo is the place to go to in Pasig for foodies and The Round Table is a great addition to the growing number of its restaurants. I have dined in a couple of restaurants in Kapitolyo and so far The Round Table is on top of my taste buds in terms of uniqueness and variety.
