Fresh from the success of Legally Blond and Sweet Charity, Nikki Gil is back. This time she is playing the role of Sonia Walsk, a charming, bubbly and sometimes annoying singer songwriter who collaborates with a successful composer Vernon Gersch. It was like hell at first sight for him.

Things gets interesting when the music they are creating is becoming the songs of their hearts are singing. But will their songs meet the right tune?

Just like a great song it has all the elements needed to be a hit. From the cast, the music and the set. Having played similar roles before, or with the same character Nikki did a great job in giving Sonia a character of her own.  Lorenz himself, is a composer and has played in a couple of stage plays before including The King and I and The Forbidden Broadway.

Both were passionate about the roles they played and it spread the love bug throughout the hall giving everyone good vibes.

It was an evening filled laughter and tears. Nikki was definitely funny. I watch her during her MYX segments and she is naturally funny, but when she goes up the stage, she can make you cry in just a scene. I wish I saw her when she played Sweet Charity and Legally Blond.

What’s also commendable is how the stage was set up. The designer was able to incorporate the characters with their homes without overdoing it. The transition from one scene to another flowed seamlessly thanks to the rotating stage.
