I have never experienced the magic of KathNiel first hand until I got to attend the launch of VIvo V9 at SM Mall of Asia. I’ve seen them is exclusive media events and product launches but never in a crowded mall.
Even before the event start, the event area is already filled up with both Vivo and KathNiel fans. The crowd even populated the second floor over looking the event area.
The event started with musical performances by different artists and dance groups to keep the fans entertained as they excitedly wait for Vivo V9’s presentation and of course, KathNiel.
Spearheading the event was Vivo PH’s VP for Sales Ms. Hazel Bascon and Vivo PH’s Brand Director Ms Annie Lim who announced their partnership with YouTube for FanFest 2018 where fans will get to meet their favorite vloggers, content creators, and fellow fans for a fun filled fanfest. The event is expected to take place in May at the World Trade Cener. Ms Bascon also proudly announced that Vivo V received over 18,000 pre-orders as soon was it was announced.
Excitement continued to build up as Vivo introduces it’s new flagship phone, the Vivo V9 together with Qualcom’s Senior Marketing Manager for SEA, Dominikus Susanto who came all the way from Thailand (or Indonesia, I forgot) to support Vivo on the launch of their latest flagship.
While everyone was seriously listening during the presentation, it was the opposite when KathNiel went on stage. Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo’s presence raised the energy level to a maximum and the shrieks were really unending. With just a wave of his hand or a wink, Daniel can make the crowd scream even louder (beat that Thanos!).
Both Kathryn and Daniel personify the young and hip Filipino demographic that it is why Vivo had no second thoughts signing up the love duo to represent the brand. With the impact of their huge following on and off social media, Vivo is set to earn a surefire top spot in the hearts of smartphone users nationwide.
Fans continue to scream their hearts out as KathNiel serenaded them with a song and gave away two new Vivo V9 units. Vivo also gave people who bought the V9 during the event a chance to have a photo with them.
Vivo Philippines really knows how to capture their audience – with great products and awesome ambassadors. Kathniel’s Vivo mall tour is only one of Vivo Philippines’ efforts to introduce their latest flagship smartphone, the Vivo V9 closer to the smartphone users. The Vivo V9 is an artificial intelligence (AI) selfie camera with a 16 MP+5 MP dual-camera setup.
