My wife and her friends started a catering business 3 years ago and the experience of setting it up to getting clients and the events itself was on hell of ride. You get turned down, you get complaints from clients and their visitors, you get last minute supplier issues, last minute changes and more. All I want to say is that a catering business is not easy and only a few were able to build their brand and made its mark on the business.
Hizon’s Catering has been in business since 1987 and is one of the few catering business that have left its mark in the business. Hizon’s have been part of our celebrations at some point. They may have been part of your personal events or you may have have attended an event serviced by Hizon’s like baptism, graduation, wedding, and anniversary. Also there are company parties, events, or a simple workshop, conferences or seminar that you may attended too.
“We have really good food,” guarantees Hizon’s Catering General Manager, Joseph Hizon. “We invest a lot in developing the menu, in the preparation of the food, and in our equipment. We make everything from scratch. As part of our culture, we don’t allow instant food and flavorings in our kitchens,” he adds.
The biggest event they’ve handled had a whopping 15,000 guests but they can cater intimate get togethers of 50 persons as well. Menu packages start at P450 per person.
What I like about Hizon’s is that they have a creative team of stylist and they are using quality materials for their events. It’s been well thought of, planned and executed. You really have nothing to worry about. You can relax, live the moment and enjoy the party.
“We are not the cheapest but you get a lot for what you pay for, that’s what we’re known for, what we give you is of good value,” shares Joseph.
No matter how good your styling and decorations are if your food below expectation then your event fails miserably. Aside from the ambiance it’s the food that your visitors will likely comment about and look forward to (or not) attending your net event.
Hizon’s Catering has been in the business for 30 years and have filled thousands of tummies with the menu that they continuously develop to keep up with the changing taste preference and trends in the food and service industry. They take feedback seriously and make sure that adjustments are made to improve and maintain a growing number of happy and satisfied clients.
The food they serve is something that they are most proud of and yes it’s worth lining up to the buffet over and over again.
Hizon’s Catering always goes the extra mile to make your dream event happen. They even help those who are not their clients! Through their website, they are able to share their expertise with everyone. If you log on to www.hizonscatering.com and access the blog section, you will find tips for different types of parties, from conceptualization to implementation. The website also contains a list of churches and event venues, with photos and basic information about each.
My wife and her friends are still far from what Hizon’s have achieved in the catering business but they are very much inspired by Hizon’s Catering.
