I’ve heard a lot of good things about Papa John’s but sadly it was just recently that I visited one of them. I should have done it earlier. Their first branch was a Robinson’s Galleria in 2010. They now have 13 branches including the one nearest our place, Megamall.
Papa John’s promises to offer better pizza, made only from better ingredients. Top-class mozzarella cheese, black, juicy and flavorful olives, green peppers, onions. Italian variety of mushrooms and vegetables are never vacuum-packed but delivered fresh everyday to produce that distinctive flavor and hearty texture. Meats used for the pizza are imported beef and pork, and blended with special seasonings for a hearty texture and mouthwatering flavor.
What I love about Papa John’s pizza is the dough. It’s bread-like texture is the best I tasted in a pizza. The best part is that it isn’t greasy or oily. With other restaurants you can actually squeeze out a lot of excessive oil from it. I Don’t know where that came from what it was used for, pizza shouldn’t be oily. When you order a pizza it comes with your choice of dip and jalapeno. they have pizza sauce, garlic sauce, barbecue garlic ranch, and honey mustard. If Oreo has twist-lick-dunk, Papa John’s has bite-dip-enjoy. You bite the chili, dip the pizza or dough in your sauce and enjoy eating your grease less pizza.
Papa John’s also offers pasta and carbonara is what I liked. Your choice of spaghetti or pene served with bacon, fresh mushrooms and mozarella cheese in carbonara sauce topped with grated parmesan cheese.
Starting the year right, Papa John’s has a promotions for the lovers and die hard PBA fans. PBA Meals are large meal setups are good for a small barkada group or an entire 12-man team. The PBA Meals gets you a chance to purchase Papa John’s exclusive PBA shirts for only P150.00. The PBA Meals are only valid until March 15, 2013.
