Running is one the simplest form of work out simply because it’s just running. Not really. There’s actually a lot in to it that’s why there are running coaches. Preparing for a marathon sometimes takes months. Then there’s the warm ups, stretching exercises and of course creating your playlist. Music plays a big part in running and that’s what the Rexona Run to Your Beat challenge showcases.
On October 20, 2013 at the Mall of Asia Grounds, the Rexona Run To Your Beat, will let you run to the tune of live music from the country’s top bands and DJs.
“This was inspired by the insight that when you run to the beat of the music, you run faster, you go further, you’re energized to do more,” said the Rexona Brand Manager.
For the 5k race, there will be performances by Delta Street, Sandwich, The Diegos, DJ Mia Ayesa, Deuce Manila and DJ Nina. 10k runners will enjoy the music of Funk Avy and DJ Khai, while the 21k runners will get to enjoy all performances plus a finale concert by Rico Blanco, Elmo Magalona and DJ Mars Miranda.
These musicians will surely keep you on your feet and running to their beat. Coach Rio, Rexona partner and running expert says, “It’s been proven that listening to music unleashes your energy, allowing you to run further.”
Run to Your Beat is also the ultimate test of Rexona’s efficacy because the product keeps you dry and fresh from the start of the race until the end of the party.
